I think all my children are beautiful - doesn't everyone? But although other people tell me I should put them forward for modelling I have never done anything about it.
I didn't really know where to start to be honest so was really interested to learn about a new competition to find the Little Face of Venture. Venture Photography has 27 studios across the UK and the little model they choose as their Face for 2014 will win a year's professional modelling contract with MOT Models who promise to do their best to promote the winner for a variety of modelling contracts.
On top of that the winner will get to take home a years supply of shoes from Start-rite and a great prize from Lego! The shoe prize alone is worth entering for if your children are anything like mine - I'm not sure what my son does at school but his shoes come back looking like he has been doing motocross and using his toes to slow him down round corners!
The regional winner from each studio gets their winning print in a handmade frame (prize worth £350) a pair of Start-rite shoes and a Lego set.
And for each and every child who enters a £1 donation will be made to Wellchild, the national charity for sick children.
Great if you were thinking of getting some professional photos of your family taken anyway - all you have to do to enter your child for the modelling competition is buy a full family photography voucher (£35) and enjoy a Venture photography experience. Then the photographer will pick the best picture of your budding model from the shots you will be shown at a private viewing session then they will upload it onto the competition website for you.
This is viewable by the public and you will be encouraged to get all your friends and family to click on the picture of your little star and vote. Entries close on May 23 and voting closes on June 6 then 27 regional winners will be announced-they will be invited back to the studio to make a short video which, along with the winning photograph, will help the judges choose the Little Face of Venture 2014!
