Loving the natural luxury of jumpers for men and women from Woolovers

I am a bit of a fiend for buying clothes (and shoes) and I know I have far more garments than any one woman could ever wear in a year but I am drawn to fab prints, gorgeous textures and flattering lines depending on how fat or thin I am feeling at any one time!

My husband despairs of my drawers crammed full but I have noticed as he has got older he has changed from the bloke who was happy with owning essential workswear, two "going out" outfits and a suit for best which doubled up as his funeral and wedding wear. Now he is the Metro-man who browses the rails hunting down yet another lovely outfit for himself.

I swear he has spent more on clothes than me in the last year but we have one thing in common - we both prefer natural fabrics like cotton, linen and wool. Perfect for cool and hot weather and perfect for my DH who suffers with very sensitive skin.

Because we are both busy we buy a lot online and I have just discovered a fab website for people who love natural fabrics.

Celebrating their 25th anniversary this year Woolovers specialises in, well wool obviously, but also cashmere, merino and cotton knitwear. Great! My mum loves cashmere so with jumpers priced from £22.50 that's future Christmas pressies sorted.

The site has some great blends like silk and cotton or cashmere and merino for real comfort and they don't only cater for women. Oh no - they have a vast range of mens cardigans, jumpers, sleeveless slipovers and tank tops with a choice of V-neck, crew neck, turtle neck in a selection of knits like Aran or Fisherman's.

I particularly liked Woolovers' selection of jumpers - I spotted a gorgeous mens golf sweater in a zip-neck style which I know DH would love.  The range of colours is huge, prices are unbelievably reasonable considering the quality yarn used to produce the items and if you buy two of the same garment you get an even bigger discount!

I hate to mention the C-word but the festive season will be upon us before you know it and with the multi-buy discount you could sort out all the men in your life with some lovely new tops and sit back looking smug while everyone else races round in December finally resorting to a nylon-infused Christmas jumper adorned with Rudolph.

Yes, they are funny for one day but your Dad, partner, nephew or son will get a lot more wear out of their Woolovers jumper!

Unlike my bonkers son (pictured) most people don't want to wear their snowman sweater in July but might be grateful for a lightweight cotton jumper to throw on for an evening barbecue!

My problem is now which styles to buy, and in which colour. And knit gauge. And which yarn? And how will I resist the temptation to click on a few items for myself?  I think we are going to need another chest of drawers!
