We had a lovely day on Sunday - a family day out in London and finally after lots of stress and work and racing about it was really nice to have some fun! I did not expect that fun to include X-factor contestants!
We made our way to Spitalfields market to check out the amazing crafted tree being decorate to celebrate the launch of LitttleBigPlanet 3- out now on PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3.
Standing at over 20 foot tall the tree was surrounded by craft tables where anyone could make something to add to the tree.
My children made sparkly cogs, pompoms, paper chains of snowmen and Sackboy figures, felt trees and cute little folded paper decorations.
They were so proud of their crafts - some did go on the tree but I have to admit that some especially treasured ones came home with us for our own tree!

A host of celebrities came along to join in the #LittleBigChristmas fun too including X-Factor contestants Stevi Ritchie and Chloe-Jasmine Whichello, who both seemed genuinely lovely people whatever you think of their singing. Apparently Jay James, Konnie Huq and Jenni Falconer came along too but we didn't see them. I did spot Jonnie Vaughan though.
I love this picture of me with Stevi- mainly because Jonas was so absorbed in his craft making that he only glanced up at the last minute as the photograph was being taken and looks less than impressed by the celebrity singer hugging mummy!
Disclaimer: I was invited along to help decorate the tree and received a copy of LittleBigPlanet3 as a thank you for writing about the event.
