Paphos Old Town has been massively refurbished and now has an arts and crafts trail which leads you from gallery to craft shop to gift shops all selling locally made arts and crafts. You might even get a chance to have a go at something artistic yourself as at least one shop has a "making" cafe.
Peek into shadowy doors to see traditional crafters making straw chair seats and other goods.
The trail takes you past some lovely cafes and tavernas too so well worth setting aside a few hours for a wander if you find yourself in Cyprus.
