Since lockdown I've swapped my school run walk for a longer stroll round my village and with this lovely weather we've been enjoying the exercise has been making me thirsty -luckily I have a new Quokka Mineral water bottle (gifted) to take on my daily government approved exercise session.
Quokka do quite a range of reusable water bottles to suit everyone's tastes. From double walled insulated stainless steel vacuum models to the design I chose to review (AD) which is made of BPA free, durable, break resistant Tritan.
The Quokka Mineral bottle is lightweight, clear so you can see how much liquid you have left and has a detachable lid and a magnetic anti-drip cap which snaps to the cute logo on the side of the bottle while you are drinking. It holds 520ml and a lid which unscrews to make filling and cleaning easy. (bottle is not suitable for putting in dishwasher or microwave)
My bottle is the Lavender colourway which I love - there are lavender coloured details on the bottle and the main part of the bottle has a lavender tint. The Midnight version has a smoky tint and a black lid with gorgeous turquoise detailing.
The Quokka is advertised as leakproof and I can confirm that my slightly bored children tested this feature thoroughly over each other's heads. Not a drip! Shaken violently, by a teenager with cabin fever for instance, a couple of drops might escape but on the whole leakproof is a valid claim.
I'm glad about this as I've been looking for a bottle which doesn't have a little cap I have to unscrew since for some reason these seem to go missing in my cupboard. I love that I can flick the top off, enjoy it snapping to the side then after drinking simply plug the top back up.
My bottle came with a free mobile stand which was a cute touch. If you fancy a new bottle for your daily walk, run or bike ride you can order your own Quokka Reusable water bottle via Amazon with prices starting at £6.11. The Quokka Mineral bottle I have is selling currently at £8.73.
