MyFirst Camera 3 Review

I'll never forget the excitement of my first digital camera. I was young during the era when you had to take photos blindly then send them off or drop them into the High Street photo developing shop then wait FOREVER only to discover your snaps were mostly blurred, you'd cut the top of someones head off or you ended up with a set of holiday snaps from a complete stranger. The only alternative was an instant camera with outrageously expensive films.

Now even the youngest members of the family can indulge their creative side with the myFirst Digital camera 3, taking pictures which they will be able to look back at for the rest of their life. Imagine showing your grandchildren an album filled with images 3-year-old you created?

Of course every phone comes with a pretty decent camera nowadays but much as I love my grandson I am not handing over my £1K smartphone for him to drop when the donkeys come little too close for comfort.

I absolutely ADORE the new myFirst Digital camera 3 which comes in pink, yellow or blue complete with a soft-to-touch protective sleeve in cute animal styles and a handy lanyard to ensure while running from the scary donkeys the camera stays safe and sound with the amateur photographer.

Opening the box I exclaimed that this little camera was the cutest thing I have ever seen. Followed by squeals when I realised the camera made adorable noises when starting up and shutting down. It's obviously simple to operate, especially for today's tech savvy kids, and the large screen on the back makes framing pictures super-easy. There are even stickers included to personalise the camera.

Of course Gen Alpha kids expect the same quality and features as their parents when it comes to gadgets so the 16 mpx myFirst Camera 3 comes with a selfie lens and video option (HD quality natch!). The camera features autofocus and a lens selector button making switching from selfie to scenery simple.

For the photo buffs amongst you here is the tech info:

I cannot wait to see what my Grandson does with this camera - I think it will give us a real insight into his world from his perspective. Although knowing B I expect trains will feature very heavily in his albums with maybe some donkey pics thrown in for variety.
